EASTERN CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY SPORTS INFORMATION DEPARTMENT 2020 INTERNSHIP

In my first professional venture into employment in the sports advertising field, I interned at the Sports Information office at Eastern Connecticut State University from May to August, 2020. While interning, I wrote feature stories for things happening within the department. This included interviewing, researching, and searching archives. Being that this year has been challenging in sports, a lot of my  endeavors for the office included the ongoing pandemic and athletes' challenges with it. One overlying event throughout my internship is the Womens' Basketball 50th Anniversary Season, in which I conducted an interview, did background research, and designed logo iterations for.
