I have loved Boston sports from a young age. Despite this, I did not learn exactly where my heroes came from and the struggles they faced on and off the field, who they were to the city of Boston.

The Undergraduate Research Conference, which ran in conjunction with Professor Rob Carr's Writing in Aesthetics class, gave me a chance to visit that as well as a chance to exercise my creative juices.

This book, besides being a joy to create, was presented at Fitchburg State's Undergraduate

Research Conference as well as UMass Amherst's Massachusetts Undergraduate Research Conference in 2019.
